Apartment Review for Archstone Newport Village - Alexandria, VA

This has to be the worst place I have ever lived. Our airconditioner has been broken for over a month now and is STILL not fixed its almost August! No one resopnded to our request for over 2 weeks and then only did so because we kept calling the office every single day, sometimes twice a day. They keep sending out the same people from the complex who know nothing about aircondtioners and they scratch their A$$ and walk off doing nothing. They finally sent someone in from the outside and they told us and them that we needed a new unit, HAHA well that was over a week ago and no such luck, this place is too cheap.

Next, we have multiple ceiling leaks from poorly wrapped pipes, Ive had a huge hole in my bedroom ceiling, a huge hold in the ceiling of the baby's nursery and wall and a hole in the bathroom wall for a week! They have not come out to repair it, they came out and made big holes then walked away! Ive called the office every day to get someone out here to repair it and the staff are very rude and condescending and obviously dont give a crap.

So to recap; no airconditioner for over a month and still not fixed, huge holes in our ceilings and walls for over a week and still not fixed and Im 8 1/2 months pregnant!

Please stay away yes the apartments are spacious but this has been the worst experience I have ever had anywhere. My father was a maintenence manager for 2 complexes (out of state) and this is absolutely unacceptable!

So frusterated, I cant wait to move
