Apartment Review for Avalon At Cameron Court - Alexandria, VA

Avalon at Cameron Court has spent the last 6 months trying to get us to pay rent for an Apartment we never stepped foot in. We were never even given keys to the apartment nor were we given access codes to the front gate. Watch out for the sneaky staff they lied to us on several occasions and told us we had to write a letter to not not move in, then they used the letter against us with the credit agency. We are working with our lawyers to resolve the issues, but there staff is very often "unavailable" after they have defrauded you. Getting in touch with their National office Avalon Bay is even more difficult, they keep you on hold for hours and refuse to call back. I would be very wary of ever renting there. Being charged 1700 for an apt, that we never used is STEALING, no one can afford to be taken advantage of in times like these.
