Apartment Review for Avalon At Cameron Court - Alexandria, VA

We had to break the lease on two separate apts. Clause in contract allows this but is not specific as to penalties. Worked OK first time. Second time they screwed us -- would not explain charges, etc. When I asked for explanation they quickly referred the account for collection, thus damaging my credit. And they couldn't agree on the amount even among themselves, sending me very different billing amounts on different occasions. There should be a law preventing them from doing that. Was settled through collection at half what they wanted in the end. Be very careful dealing with this company!
