Apartment Review for Courts Of Mt Vernon - Alexandria, VA

DO...NOT...RENT...HERE. The manager Jamie, is an absolute nutcase. She never follows through on anything, and loves to call the cops whenever there's even a radio playing. The apartment is overall a dump, and is filled with bugs. The laundry room floor is covered in urine and some have been known to find the homeless sleeping in there. First week living in The Courts, the speakers were stolen out of my car. Kids are constantly surrounding every entry way and even play basketball in the hallways. The apartments haven't been updated sinces the sixties and look like it. Once you move away, they find any reason you charge you for "damages" to your apartment but will not provide invoices or details of what you "owe". Try to call Grady Management on this, and they're just as bad. They even bad mouth the manager and openly talk about how many complaints they have about her but still will make you pay. Sure, it's cheap to live here...but you WILL pay in the end. Spend the extra $150 and find somewhere that won't make you miserable.
