Apartment Review for Eos-21 - Alexandria, VA

This is the worst apartment that i have ever had. I moved here from another state and did not see my apartment before moving in. I regret the day that I signed the lease. They will let anyone move into this dump. The hallways stink of spices and all kinds of various foods. In addition to stinky, walking down the hallways reminds me of a college dorm--you can hear music blasting out of each apartment as you walk by. Someone in my building is constantly breaking the front and back doors--there is no security in this building whatsoever. There are roaches and the walls are paper thin. If you like listening to the thumping beats of salsa for hours on end, move here. When you call the rental office to complain, they tell you to call the non-emergency police instead of them dealing with the situation and putting out riff raff. Someone with a gun held up the little grocery store during the evening rush hour. Now, they are doing rennovations that are not done with any consideration to tenants. They removed the washer and dryers for about 2 months. I do not have a car and had to RENT a car just to get my laundry done. Once the washers and dryers were replaced, they only put in 8 for a huge building and the dryers are stacked on top. at 5ft 2, i cannot reach into the dryer. Now, they are going to remove the elevators and I am sure that it will take them several months to have them back in service. This place is such a dump that i never got unpacked. I just unpacked essential items that I need until my lease is up. I just pray that I get out of this noisy and dirty roach hell hole without my apartment being robbed or me being attacked. DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!
