Apartment Review
Beware!

Secure doors NOT, usually broken key system, and rear doors propped open. Pet poo all over the grounds. Bldg leaks when it rains in apartment around windows and in the stairwells. Had water leaks from toilets and dishwashers above my apartment. Parking slots so tiny if you get in you can't get out of your car! A towing company trolls the lots at night. Fire department shows up often with flashing lights and sirens, but no alarm in the bldg warns you of possible fires. Leasing staff non-responsive. Could not get landline because of disputes between staffer and phone company about the switchbox even though I was going to pay the phone company--had to canx startup phone service and never had the landline. Mold on heat/ac pipes throughout the apartment and in the livingroom closet. The system is some type of radiator on the perimeter of the apt ceiling so you can't actually see it from the floor level. Trash and old furniture left in hallways regularly. Elevator constantly out-of-order. Tenants are regularly robbed inside the bldgs and on the property--its dark in most areas at night. The only things positive were a nice size apt laid out well and close proximity to grocery and shopping venues. Rent rates over-priced and include water bill that's attached to your rent regardless of how much you use or don't use. A few leasing office staffers were responsive but mostly they whined and complained about the tenants within earshot of tenants in the office to pay rent. The place could be a lot nicer if the theater was ever actually open and the tenant lounge was available--neither were when I was there. You pay high rent for the amenities whether you use them or not (supposedly multiple tennis courts, swimming pools, fitness center) and in general it was just an ordinary, run-down place spruced up to look nice. It was a serious dissappointment.
