Apartment Review for Eos Twenty-One - Alexandria, VA

The demonstration apartment was absolutely beautiful!! My apartment was great looking too, except that the building I was in, building J, was roach infested. The roaches came out when the lights were off, so I constantly had the lights on in my apartment, even when I slept at night!!! Unfortunately, I saw plenty of roaches out in the broad daylight too!The exterminator said that when they are out in the daytime that means they are coming out to die becasue of the chemicals they injested. Yeah right!!!!! If they were dying, why did they move so quick????? As for the security, we were told that it was a safe and secure environment. Not true!!! The parking lot lights around our building were hardly ever working. It was mostly pitch black out there. My husband left for work very ealry in the morning and I would have to take my puppy out to use the bathroom in the pitch black parking lot by myself. After we moved in, there was several break ins and robberies in and around our building, even in the broad daylight. Yeah, sure the electricity is included in the rent, and that`s great, but I would rather pay for my own electricity then to live and sleep with the roaches and all their babies that they had in my apartment. The leasing office offered another apartment to me in another building. That was nice,but do they realize how much it takes to pack everything back upagain and move to another building??? I just unpacked everything and set everything up after moving from New Jersey. Trust me, go find a cleaner and safer apartment complex!!!!
