Apartment Review for Foxchase Of Alexandria - Alexandria, VA

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are all about here, though I won't argue with what people's personal experiences have been. The fact of the matter is, there are no perfect apartment complexes, and the more you pay, the more you get. I think Foxchase is a very nice apartment, at least for what I pay, and I lived in a more expensive place in Arlington and got a lot less. The apartments aren't big, but mine feels very homey. I live near the back, by the park, so it's really quiet and I never feel unsafe. The parking can be a pain, but I feel the maintenance staff is decent. The office staff is fine too.. I don't really know why anyone would need to deal with them enough to feel such animosity towards them. I've found that if you're nice to them, they're nice back. The new shopping center at the front brings a new vitality to the area, and I love seeing it when I drive home. Also, the social activities (resident appreciation parties, games nights, movie discounts, free fitness boot camp) that are offered here, as well as the gyms and tennis courts, are probably my favorite thing about the community. I've lived here for four years, and I won't be moving until I purchase a house.
