Apartment Review for Hermitage Hills - Alexandria, VA

The place is now over populated. With people that don't pick up there childrens garbage and they are no where in sight while their children are out doors in the street unsupervised. The parking was plentiful,for residents and guests, but now the apatments are so over crowded,the visitors lot is jammed pack with residents cars that are obviously not on the lease or they would have a parking pass. My newest neighbors in a 2 bedroom,hispanic of course, 6 people in their unit and one is expecting, one apartment next to me has 3 pregnant women and a boat load of men living there and God knows how many children. The playground, there is no mulch or padding on the ground for children, in case they fall. There are large tree roots running threw the playgroung that cause so many injuries, but of course the parents rarely ecnowledge it because they are no where in sight while there untammed children as young as just walking is running up and down the sidewalks and street. The pool which I call a swamp, i wouldent let a animal swim in there. The residents that have been here for a while seem to respect the place, but many not all of the newcomers tend to strip this neighborhood of the class,and upkepping it once offered. The playgroung is made out of cast iron, which hasnt been used in over 10years. I refuse to let my children play there or with the wild unsupervised children. Come drive threw before u waste your time at the rental office, and speak with the tennants, u may need a translater. Good luck.
