Apartment Review for Orleans Village Apartments - Alexandria, VA

I lived here for 2 weeks. I was not able to view the apartment before I moved in, instead I was shown a model apt. in the leasing office. Upon moving in I found cock roaches every where. I called at the first sight of one and requested the apartment be exterminated. The capet was so badly stained and dirty that when I was on the floor playing with my son I broke out in a rash. This went on for the entire 2 weeks I lived there, I called every single day, and day after day there was a "mix up" as to why the house was not sprayed. I am not talking a roach here or there, I am talking tons of roaches a day. Mainentance even painted them into the wall! They were also melted into the dryer. I could not go into a room with out killing a roach. If you are a dirty, disgusting person, who doesn't mind cock roaches you will not mind living here. Also, my neighbors were not too bad, however walking to my apartment was scary, always loud music playing around the complex. Someone actually tried to coax my son to come to him!!!!! Not safe, friendly, or clean!!!
