Apartment Review
Eviction Notices.

Twice in the last four months Orleans Village management has lost our check for the months rent, sent us an eviction notice, and tried to charge us $126 in late fees for not paying rent. Everytime it has been at their fault, not ours. My car has been hit in this parking lot- the resident giving me a faulty name, phone number and insurance number, the apartment manager would not do anything to help but tell me the woman lived in the building, (which I already knew). No one speaks English in the building we live, however, we have meet some nice neighbors. The people who live below us have music playing till about 12AM every night, and start early in the day. It took a phone call everynight to the managements office and a call to the police department before anything got done with them. The management and leasing office are on two different planets, we were told rent was two different figures from each management being $100 more. The lease we signed says we have a dishwasher, however, there is no dishwasher. When we talked to the Manager- Vicky Clayton, she would not do anything about this accept offer us another apartment that cost more...$300 more, it turns out the only ones with dishwashers are two bedroom townhouses. I have been very openminded about this place since it is close to the Army base which my husband works at. The commute to work is quick for him. I even wanted to move into a bigger apartment here, but after the consistant problems and constant hidden fees I would never live here or recommend it. |
