Apartment Review for The Ridgeleigh At Van Dorn Metro (Formerly Known As Jefferson At Van Dorn A - Alexandria, VA

I have lived here a while, unfortunately, and I agree with the previous reviewers. Getting the office staff to respond to maintenance requests is a nightmare, and when they finally do show up they don't fix things correctly. The head of the maintenance staff was in my apartment recently fixing something, and even that didn't get fixed correctly. The A/C was not working again a week later. I can also verify the towing policy (which is ridiculous!) and the break-ins. Management has left two letters on our doors recently alerting us to the fact that break-ins are happening regularly and telling us safety is our own responsibility so we'd better get renter's insurance if we want to live here. The office staff is super-nice when they're trying to rent to you, but don't expect the same treatment when you move in. As soon as they've got your signature on a lease, they forget about you completely.
