Apartment Review for Watergate At Landmark - Alexandria, VA

I don’t recommend this place. I agree the management unresponsive and have very poor customer service. The few friendly hard working staffs there are underpaid, overworked, and unappreciated. Every morning I see cars with wheel clamps for expired parking stickers or simply because the resident forgot to display the parking permit on the dashboard. The majority of residents are either bored elderly people or teenagers running around causing troubles. Not to mention the water balloons thrown at pedestrians from balconies by unsupervised kids. Once I saw them throwing glass vase at the cars in the parking lot! The units contain lead paint from when the buildings were first built sometimes in 1970s. The management claims this has been taking care of thru several layers of repainting!! The building ventilation system is terrible. You can have a neighbor 3 to 5 units away and still smell their dinner fried fish or smoking cigarettes.
